The Adjustable Neck & Head Support System #PTI-STP is a technologist-inspired positioning solution developed to support the head and shoulders while facilitating optimal cervical extension and anterior neck exposure during supine imaging studies.

Its uniquely contoured base gently elevates the shoulders to create natural cervical extension, improving visualization of the thyroid, salivary glands, parathyroid, and lymph nodes. The adjustable and removable head holder provides lateral head support, minimizing unwanted rotational and translational motion that can compromise image accuracy. For added flexibility, the base and head support components can be easily separated and used independently, allowing technologists to adapt positioning based on exam type and patient anatomy.

The PTI-STP is covered in a durable blue, fluid-proof material infused with a bacteriostatic additive for enhanced infection control. The surface wipes clean with standard germicides and disinfectants and meets Joint Commission requirements as well as flame retardant standards (CAL 177), making it suitable for routine clinical use.
