At the core of SoloShield is a large 24" x 38" transparent lead-acrylic window providing 0.50 mm lead-equivalent (LE) radiation protection. This virtually unbreakable shield allows staff to maintain clear visual contact with the patient and sterile field while blocking scatter radiation. An integrated 12" lead-equivalent drape provides added lower-body shielding.

Unlike bulky fixed barriers, SoloShield features ergonomic wrap-around arm cutouts, allowing clinicians to get closer to the patient and table without compromising protection or sterility. This makes it ideal for long, complex fluoroscopy-guided cases where comfort and positioning are critical.

The foot-activated height adjustment allows users to raise or lower the shield from 62" to 72" without using their hands, preserving sterility and speeding repositioning. A telescoping tube with locking gas spring ensures smooth, stable height changes that lock securely into place.

A lightweight, low-profile base with locking casters allows SoloShield to be easily moved and pushed flush against tables, C-arms, or imaging equipment. The integrated maneuvering bar provides intuitive control for precise placement in crowded procedure rooms.
