Transparent, with RS-119T or without 90-degree flexion RS-118T, RSD’s Knee Phantoms allow for tremendous flexibility with teaching and training. Knee Phantoms represent an average male 5 ft. 9 in. tall (175 cm), with a weight of 162 lbs (74 kg). They are rugged, easily transported, and shatter-proof. These Body Sections phantoms do not replace simple geometric phantoms that are used to evaluate individual characteristics of an imaging system. Instead, they provide comprehensive evaluation of the imaging system and imaging techniques under realistic conditions.

*Synthetic bone phantoms do not image the same as Human Bone Phantoms.  Synthetic X-ray phantoms are designed to mimic the density and structure of human bones, but they lack the complex trabecular patterns found in real human bone. Trabecular patterns are unique to only human bones and cannot be fully replicated in synthetic phantoms. This distinction also makes the synthetic x-ray phantoms much less expensive.
