NON-COATED HIGH-DENSITY SPONGE - These four large-sized blocks are specifically designed to provide extra firm support for bariatric and athletic patient positioning. A coated version is also available.

COATED HIGH-DENSITY SPONGE - This is the same high-density sponge outlined above, but is coated with a medical-grade, durable and easy-to-clean vinyl surface that is resistant to blood, Betadine®, barium, alcohol, oils and other fluids. Attenuation is very low (edges may show, depending on technique). Ideal for sterile environments.
