Knee Arthrography Block

The Knee Arthrography Block #209 is specifically designed to provide secure immobilization and effective knee flexion during arthrography procedures. Its compact, supportive shape ensures accurate positioning, minimizes patient movement, and enhances comfort throughout the imaging or injection process—making it ideal for use in radiology departments and orthopedic clinics. This block ensures consistency and precision throughout the arthrogram process.

Constructed from open-cell foam, this block offers a balance of support and comfort for standard use. For facilities requiring additional durability and fluid resistance, the block is also available in Ultrafoam (a rigid, closed-cell foam), or with a ScanCoat® Black sprayed vinyl coating for superior cleanability and contamination control. Additionally, a version with a heavy-duty vinyl cover is available for even greater protection in high-use environments.

Material Options:

• Open Cell Foam – Standard charcoal-colored foam; radiolucent, fire-retardant, economical

• Ultrafoam (-UF) – Closed-cell foam; fluid-resistant, rigid, durable (Note: heights over 3" may have glue seams that could attenuate imaging)

• ScanCoat® Black (-SCB) – Soft, sprayed vinyl coating; very low attenuation, resists tearing, peeling, and contamination (edges may show in low KVP techniques)

• Heavy-Duty Vinyl Cover (-20) – Durable and cleanable; not recommended for low KVP techniques due to visible seams
