The GE 1211 Knee Wedge is designed to provide comfortable, reliable lower-body support for patients during imaging and clinical procedures. Constructed at a 45-degree angle, the wedge promotes proper knee elevation and spinal alignment, helping reduce strain while improving patient stability and comfort. These knee wedges are built using ultra-strong fabric and seams sewn with coated nylon threads to prevent cracking, tearing, and seam failure—especially at high-stress corners. Both the pad core and fabric cover contain a permanent antimicrobial agent that inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria, including MRSA, supporting infection control protocols in busy clinical environments.

The premium fabric surface is designed for daily clinical use and can be safely cleaned using standard hospital-grade disinfectants when used at proper manufacturer-recommended dilutions. Alcohol-based cleaners may be used without causing drying or cracking. Mild soap and water can also be used for routine cleaning. To protect fabric integrity, chlorine-based disinfectants, harsh stain removers, and high-concentration bleach solutions should not be used.

To further protect against fluid intrusion and biological contamination, the cover is permanently sealed without a zipper. This eliminates weak points where seams could fail or contaminants could reach the core. If a cover becomes too soiled to clean or seams become damaged, the pad should be replaced to maintain safety and performance.
