Built with ultra-strong fabric and seams sewn using coated nylon threads, the wedge resists cracking, tearing, and seam failure—especially at high-stress corners. Both the pad core and fabric cover incorporate a permanent antimicrobial agent that inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria, including MRSA, supporting infection control in clinical environments.

The premium fabric surface can be cleaned using manufacturer-approved dilutions of standard hospital disinfectants. Alcohol-based cleaners may be used without drying or cracking, and mild soap and water can be used for routine cleaning. To protect the integrity of the pad, chlorine-based products and harsh stain removers should not be used.

The sealed, zipper-free cover design helps prevent fluid intrusion and biological contamination by eliminating seam weak points. If the cover becomes excessively soiled or seams become damaged, the wedge should be replaced to maintain safety and performance.
