Happy Birthday Courtney

We asked our employees two questions this year as they reflect on their birthday and purpose.

If you could raise awareness about one thing, what would it be? I would raise awareness for Mental Health, and how it is just as important to take care of your metal health as it is your physical health.

What’s one thing about you that others might be surprised to learn? One thing that others might be surprised to learn about me is that I LOVE Christmas, probably boarder line obsessed. I tend to go overboard with the decorations, but just the spirit of Christmas and of course the family time is the best!

I'm thrilled for National Radiologic Technology Week (NRTW), a special time to celebrate who we are and the vital contributions we make. NRTW is also a powerful opportunity for us to educate the public, healthcare professionals, and elected officials about the medical imaging and radiation therapy profession. This year’s theme, "Always on the Front Line of Health Care. It’s Time for Us to Be Seen," highlights our dedication and commitment to elevating the profession and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

As we celebrate, let's remember that the radiology profession includes not only those who perform imaging but also technologists who use their expertise behind the scenes, applying their skills and knowledge in ways that directly impact the quality of care. It's essential to recognize every professional who contributes to radiology—whether through direct patient interactions, continuous education, or maintaining their licensure each year, often without recognition.

During NRTW, let’s stand tall together, proudly representing all aspects of our profession. We are a community of skilled professionals who make a real difference every day, and this week is for every one of us.
