We asked our employees 3 questions for their birthday this year to get to know them better:

1. What’s one goal you hope to achieve in 2025?  My goal is to laugh more, travel more, and to be able to find more adventure in the smaller things. Also spending more time in Minnesota with my daughter and my mom is always a goal.  

1. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?  If I could go anywhere…. It would have to somewhere tropical like Bora Bora or Fuji. Beautiful surroundings, new and exciting things to do, or doing nothing at all but watching the turquoise water…

1. What’s your favorite part of working at Z&Z Medical?  My favorite part of working at Z&Z is being part of a team. Whether it is finding things to laugh at every day or giving support when life doesn’t go quite as planned. We also work as a team to grow, help our customers, and provide the best customer experience we can.

This month, we’re thrilled to celebrate a major milestone for one of our very own — Rod Katz, our incredible Logistics Coordinator, is celebrating 10 years with Z&Z Medical!

Rod plays a vital role behind the scenes, making sure our warehouse stays organized, efficient, and on track. From managing incoming inventory to ensuring that every shipment gets out the door accurately and on time, Rod is one of the reasons our operations run as smoothly as they do.

His attention to detail, tireless work ethic, and calm under pressure have been invaluable over the years. Whether it’s a last-minute rush order or a full truckload shipment, Rod makes it happen — with professionalism and a positive attitude.

Rod, thank you for 10 years of outstanding service and dedication. We are grateful for everything you do and proud to have you as part of the Z&Z family!

We’re excited to share some great news—our team is growing once again! Please join us in welcoming Rod Schut, who will be handling equipment and accessory sales here in Iowa.

Rod brings a wealth of hands-on experience to our team, having worked as an x-ray technologist for many years, most recently in Interventional Radiology at MercyOne in Waterloo.  Rod’s clinical background, industry knowledge, and commitment to patient care make him a perfect fit as we continue expanding our equipment offerings.

We’re confident he’ll be a valuable resource for our customers and a strong addition to our team.

Happy Birthday. Jake has been a quiet force behind the scenes, consistently bringing dedication, reliability, and thoughtfulness to everything he does.

Whether he’s solving problems, keeping things running smoothly, or lending a hand, his steady presence makes a big impact on our team.

Please join us in wishing Jake a very happy birthday! We hope it’s a great one filled with everything he enjoys—preferably a little peace and quiet and a slice of cake.

We have another "Zabel" joining the Z&Z Medical Team. We are excited to announce Brandon Zabel has joined us as a new Service Technician. Brandon is the son of one of the original owners Kevin Zabel, and brother-in-law to our President Brian Kramme. He will be a great addition to our team and is excited to join us.
