Nurses can play an integral role in field of Radiology by prepping patients prior to radiology procedures, or by working directly in the Radiology department. Nursing professionals have never been more vital to the health of our nation than the past year and it’s more important than ever to support and recognize them for the essential role they play in their communities and the countless lives they touch every day. The American Nurses Association (ANA) announced on its website that National Nurses Week is now a monthlong celebration to expand opportunities to celebrate these superheroes of healthcare.
