Those were the best x-rays I had ever seen

In August 2019, Dr Neal deBuhr contacted our office to inquire about purchasing x-ray equipment for his new Chiropractic office that would be opening in Cedar Falls, IA since his graduation from Palmer Chiropractic College. He had secured an office in a new development that was still under construction. His timing was perfect because the room was not yet constructed which allowed us to work with his architect and contractor on the details of the x-ray layout. After completing some CAD drawings and working with Dr deBuhr, we all agreed on a layout and the equipment that would be needed to take Gonstad full spine digital x-rays and view them in his office and various locations in his practice. Unfortunately for Dr deBuhr there were many, many delays in the construction of the new building. This was painful for him as a new Chiropractor just out of college. He was anxious to get his new practice started but he could do nothing but watch and wait while the construction process seemed to move at a snail’s pace. I must say, Dr deBuhr is a very patient man and finally in April 2020 construction was complete and he was ready to get started.

Z&Z Medical installed a new high frequency x-ray system by Summit Industries for the production of x-rays. We als installed a 17x17 removable cesium direct digital DR imaging system by 20/20 Imaging with OpalRad software for image manipulation, storage and viewing. The install went quite smoothly and in no time his practice was open and ready for new patients. Dr deBuhr recently stated to his rep from Z&Z Medical that “He is very satisfied with the new equipment and installation”. Because of this satisfaction, “He has recommended Z&Z to other colleagues”. Complete customer satisfaction is what we strive to achieve with each customer and it’s always nice to know when we get that done right.

I received a phone call a few weeks ago from a local Chiropractor that was looking into adding x-ray to her practice. She hasn’t had x-ray in over 20 years but she saw some digital x-rays that were taken by Dr deBuhr and her comment to me was “Those were the best x-rays I had ever seen”. Another testimony about the quality of equipment that we are able to provide our customers at an affordable price.

If you still have an analog system and would like to learn more about the benefits of digital and speak to facilities that have made the leap, give us a call. We would love to share with you our many success stories and add you to the growing list!

Now is the time to look into digital conversion so you too can say, “Those are the best x-rays I have ever seen”.

We at Z&Z Medical hear these same comments all the time from customers that convert from film to digital imaging. Just like Dr Van Hemert, they too are amazed at how quickly and easily it is to take an x-ray and manipulate the image to produce amazing results for diagnostic viewing. The software is very easy to learn and very forgiving in those situations when the image would normally be unacceptable with out-of-date analog equipment. The time saving over analog allows the Dr to spend more time with their patients and less time trying to achieve an acceptable x-ray. This all adds up to better patient care and higher throughput for the doctor.

Another Happy Customer

Z&Z Medical recently sold and installed a new digital x-ray DR from 20/20 Imaging and OparlRad software at Van Hemert Chiropractic Family Wellness Center in Pella, Iowa.  Dr Russell Van Hemert upgraded his practice from an analog film/cassette-based system with an automatic film processor to the newest version of cesium DR flat panel technology. He chose a 17x17 removable panel to allow upright and horizontal imaging with very little effort. After using the new equipment for a couple months, Dr Van Hemert had this to say about the system, “I am very satisfied with the new digital equipment. Because the software is so easy to use and manipulate images, it allows more margin for error. I am especially satisfied with the fact that I am able to take more images in less time than film and wet processing took”
