In most Chiropractic and small clinic offices floor space is a premium luxury. To keep monthly rent and lease payments affordable you have to squeeze as many services as possible into the smallest space in your office. Many times, you are forced to get double duty out of one room. Adjustment or procedure rooms get used as dressing or waiting areas while office and clerical duties are performed in kitchens and breakrooms. This is especially true when it comes to the x-ray room in many practices. Since x-rays are not performed continuously throughout the day, these rooms are typically small and quite often used for other services such as massage, adjustments, and procedures. In the days of film developing, this was further complicated by the need for a darkroom. Most x-ray rooms had a darkroom located adjacent to or down the hall from x-ray. You had to leave the patient unattended while you went to develop a series of x-rays. This also took up valuable floor space.
Z&Z Medical Inc. of Cedar Falls, Iowa recently sold and installed a Universal Veterinary Radiographic System at Lake View Veterinary Services in Lake View, Iowa. The Universal Radiographic System by DEL MEDICAL replaced a 40-year old mobile system that was no longer providing the image quality or reliability needed for the practice. Craig Zabel of Z&Z Medical Inc., a long time service provider to Todd Bettin DVM of Lake View Veterinary Services recommended the Universal Veterinary Radiographic System for its high quality construction and ease of use.
According to Dr. Bettin, "Z&Z Medical has given outstanding service to my clinic for all of my radiology needs for a very long time. We have been with them since the days of analog film and dip tanks. I completely trusted their judgment when it came time to upgrade. After researching the Del Medical system they were suggesting, I found it very well liked in the Veterinary community with all of the options I wanted at a competitive price."
Z&Z Medical Inc. worked closely with Regional Manager John Ziskin and others at Del Medical to seal the deal. "The equipment arrived in a few short days and it was a breeze to install. We like that the system requires minimum assembly on-site which speeds up the install time. It's obvious to us that the Del Medical line of veterinary equipment is far higher quality than some of the other manufacturer's products.", said Craig Zabel.
