Let's Celebrate National Cat Day

National Cat Day is celebrated on October 29th each year. The day is intended to celebrate cats and encourage adoption. It’s also a time to donate blankets, food and toys to animal welfare organizations or to Volunteer at your local shelter and offer to play with some cats that are available for adoption, clean cages and litter boxes or anything else they need help with. It’s the purrrrfect day to give extra attention to our feline friends.  Learn more at the National Cat Day website.

Z&Z Medical provides a wide array of imaging accessories to image our feline friends when the time occurs. Check out our Veterinary Tab on our website to learn more.

Today is Reptile Awareness Day

Reptile Awareness Day is October 21st. Every year, reptile fanatics have a day that they can celebrate and share their passion; a chance to educate others who may not know about these amazing creatures called reptiles, and the habitat loss and threat of extinction that faces so many reptile species. Reptile Awareness Day, celebrated annually on this day, promotes learning about different types of reptiles, their natural habitats, and the ecological threats they face.

Reptiles are a class of vertebrates that are scaly and cold-blooded and that, with a few exceptions, lay eggs. They include turtles, terrapins, and tortoises; lizards, snakes, and legless worm lizards; the tuatara of New Zealand; and crocodiles, alligators, gavials, and caimans. There are 6,500-10,000 species of reptiles, which live on every continent except Antarctica.

Visit Z&Z Medical Veterinary Tab to learn more about the Radiology Imaging Accessories that can aid Vet Techs in imaging Reptiles.

Celebrating Vet Tech Week 2023 with a Promotion!

The week of October 15-21, 2022 has been set aside as National Veterinary Technician Week (NVTW) to celebrate, recognize, and promote the valuable contributions credentialed veterinary technicians make to the veterinary profession and society.

Veterinary technicians are integral players on the veterinary healthcare team.  They are on the frontlines, compassionately working with clients whose beloved animals need care.  They work tirelessly in exam rooms, labs, and operating rooms, putting to work their vast technical and scientific knowledge treating and caring for every species of animal.  Their broad skills – both professional and personal – allow veterinarians to work more efficiently and effectively.  And they do it all with love and a smile, day after day.

Z&Z Medical is proud to support all the Vet Techs this week!  Take 10% off your online order of X-Ray Markers or any of the Radiation Protection items in the Vet Radiation Protection Tab on our website by using Promo Code VET10.  Valid through Oct 21st, 2022.

We appreciate all you do!

Another Satisfied Customer!

"As an orthopedic surgeon and owner of a referral clinic, high quality radiograph images are essential. My 20/20 Imaging system from Z&Z Medical is the best I have ever used. The gang at Z & Z are absolutely great and they have been there to support my radiological needs for almost 20 years. I started with them back when I was still dipping films in a tank, and they have helped me on numerous occasions when I was in a bind and got me up and running again. When I have upgraded, they have always been super competitive when it came to price. But when you add their incredible customer service to the equation- there is no reason to look anywhere else for my imaging needs. "

*The mobile monitor unit (shown in photo) was not part of the 20/20 system but was purchased separately to meet Dr Bettin’s needs of moving from room to room. The Mobile Cart accommodates the workstation for uninterrupted power supply. The system remains plugged in and when you need to move to a separate room, in this case a surgery room, you simply unplug the power, and the UPS takes over as you move it to the surgery room and then plug the power back in with no interruption. It also utilizes the wireless access point that comes with the workstation to maintain network connectivity.  This approach is less expensive and has a simpler workflow than adding a laptop AND meets the customers’ immediate needs.
